Solomon's Rest is sponsoring Derek and a team from the International House of Prayer-Kansas City.
 
 
In 2001 Derek and Renee first encountered the International House of Prayer in Kansas City. At the time they were living in Indianapolis, IN.  The Lord so radically revived them through this encounter that they set out to begin a house of prayer in Indianapolis. They immediately launched out into being full-time intercessory missionaries, leading the Indy Prayer Furnace and pastoring a young adult church. Their 4 ½ years in Indianapolis were rich with 30 hours for intercession and worship a week, seeing young adults transformed through lifestyles of prayer and ministry to the poor.
 
In 2005 God called the Loux’s to Kansas City in order to join the leadership team of the House of Prayer led by Mike Bickle. From 2005-2008 Derek pioneered and directed the Forerunner Music Academy. After three years of operations, FMA has 200 students, three four year, full-time programs and gifted, qualified and strong faculty.

Derek will conduct Forerunner Worship and Harp & Bowl Training as well as offer afternoon breakout session.
 
Hotel arrangements have been made at the Select Inn, 701.223.8060, and the Expressway Inn, 701.222.2900. Ask for the Solomon's Rest room rate as we have secured discounts.  Please book your room on or before July 1st.
 
The weekend is free and open to the public.

Bible Study
Tuesdays at 6:45 PM
Solomon's Rest is excited to be offering a Bible Study on Tuesday nights at 6:45 PM.  This class is led by the Holy Spirit and facilitated by Nick Choukalos. The Tuesday night Bible Study is for anyone, whether you are new in the Lord or for those who want to get back into reading and studying their Bible. This class will be ongoing and always on Tuesday nights (6:45 pm start).  The Bible study is free and all are welcome.  Bring a Bible or use one of ours.
