|Yom Teruah/Rosh HaShanah|
Yom Teruah or Feast of Trumpets (Leviticus 23:23-25) This is the first of the three fall feasts and is one that is yet to be fulfilled. This is a time when we look prophetically to the future event that will bring forth the Messiah. Consider the blast of the trumpet, as you celebrate the Feast of Trumpets, to be a spiritual wake-up call. And look with anticipation for the Messiahâ??s coming and the raising of the dead (1 Corinthians 15:51-52) The ten days that follow the Feast of Trumpets are called the Days of Awe, a time when each person looks at themselves to identify the wrongs they have committed and then repent. During these ten days, each person attempts to reconcile with those with whom they have wronged and to God for the things the sins committed.
2019 Yom Teruah (Feast of Trumpets) & Rosh HaShanah (Hebrew New Year): September 30-October 1. Solomon's Rest will celebrate on Saturday September 28 with potluck lunch after service.
